IPv4 Address Converter
Convert an IPv4 address to decimal, hex, binary, octal and its IPv4-mapped IPv6 form – and back.
Some systems store IPv4 addresses as a 32-bit integer, logs may show them in hex, and a few tools accept octal. Convert between all of them – and see the IPv4-mapped IPv6 form, the 6to4 prefix and the PTR record name – in one place.
Security note
Browsers and many tools accept http://3232235777/ or 0xC0A80101 as 192.168.1.1. Attackers use these forms to slip past filters that only check the dotted notation – validate the parsed address, not the text.
